At Virco, we design, manufacture and assemble our products at state-of-the-art facilities in Torrance, California and Conway, Arkansas.
We source all raw materials from U.S. suppliers, eliminating the need to ship from overseas. U.S. environmental protection controls, as well as our own commitment to recycling, ensure that our manufacturing processes are sound and contribute to a cleaner environment for all. We ensure our products are California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) certified, as well as GREENGUARD GOLD, which protects the indoor air quality of our schools. We actively recycle, even pioneering the first Take-Back Program, which allows schools the ability to recycle furniture that has been withdrawn from service, rather than send it to the landfill.
All manufacturing processes - from metal fabrication and woodworking, to plastic injection molding, powder coating and chrome plating - are done at our two U.S. facilities. American consumer protection laws and safety standards contribute to Virco's legendary quality. Our products stand the test of time: proof that we design, manufacture and assemble with the safety of children in mind. So much so, that we stand behind our products with one of the strongest product guarantees in the market today.
